Hello Wayne,

Open preferences, open general preferences if it's not already, then arrow 
down to cd ripping.  Now shift-tab once and use your arrow keys to find the 
playlist generation tab.
Once there, shift-tab twice.
In this edit box you'll see something like
<Artist> - <Album>\## - <Artist> - <Title>

This might be the way you wanted it?
Take a look below for explanation:

<Artist> - <Album>\
Up to this point with this naming convention you have a folder with the 
artists name and album.

## - <Artist> - <Title>
Following the backslash we have the artist's name and song title.
