Bradd, the latest Winamp version is 5.5.2. I don't know much about
streaming; I'm sure that somebody else on the list can help you with that.

Hello Folks,
I didn't see an archive web addy on my sign up welcome which isn't a big
deal but I do have a couple questions hopefully someone can help out
with. My ultimate goal is to set up an internet radio stream per a project
I am working on and will eventually be looking into the shoutcast plugin
and etc. I was on ACB Interactive site looking at the info on setting up
Winamp to use as a transmitter but the Shoutcast plugin they have
downloadable from their site just errored out when trying to install it.
That brings to mind that perhaps I do not have the latest speech friendly
version of Winamp. I actually have two versions on two different comps
which seem quite similar but the version I will use to transmit the
station currently has Winamp Version 5.1.1.143 installed. Is there a
later
version of Winamp that is speech friendly with Jaws 8 and up or even back
for that matter, and also if anyone is familiar and willing to help with
questions regarding setting up a streaming radio station off list if not
appropriate here, I'd appreciate that. Thanks.
