i did spend some time with the derivatives in the past. i didn't mention
them because they really seem to have nothing common with plan9 and 8 1/2
except perhaps for a desire for simplicity. i think the reason they descend
from 9wm is that it iss one of the easiest (and possibly the cleanest) WM to
hack. but i should have mentioned w9wm; very useful to have 9wm with that
workspaces hack especially on a vaio (where i have it) or something with
such little screen realestate...
