Keep in mind that the donator would have already received a formal

Additionally I should have mentioned something I discovered when
researching what needs to be on the receipt. For any donation of
$250
or
more the donor is required to have an acknowledgement of the
donation
from
us to be able to deduct it on their taxes. We cannot be penalized
for
failing to issue a receipt however we can be fined if a donor's
deduction
is disallowed because we did not issue a receipt. Long story
short
somewherethink
we should implement a policy that we always issue a receipt if
the
donation is $250 or more. If the donation is less than $250 we
will
issue
a receipt upon request. I'm happy to discuss this further at the
next
board meeting.

I believe we should be in the singular, or plural, noth mixed.

Here the word 'good' is singular, and 'services' is plural.
Should it be:
"No goods or services were provided in exchange for this
donation"
That website says we should thank on a basic receipt, and supply
the
receipt as close to the donation date as possible, however it is
not
required until January 31, of the next year.
So, Jackie, please put thank you somewhere on there. Maybe in
the
heading of the cash amount. Maybe as a sub-heading to the
document...up to you.
