The attached PDF receipt and the email wording from the other email thread
have been created under the WestEndCivicassoc email account. Just want to
make sure we are good to go before I hit send this morning. There have been
a lot of emails and I have had to read them through my phone and its not as
user friendly as my computer at work.

on the Clarence Scott donation, we will save the donation receipt as a
PDF, and send it out.

Yes, since it is a requirement of WECA, I read the same thing in that
link I posted, we will definitely need that policy. Nothing really to
bring up to the board since it is a requirement.
As we had stated before, we can issue the receipt for all others as
per request. (We will ask as well.)

Additionally I should have mentioned something I discovered when
researching what needs to be on the receipt. For any donation of $250
or
more the donor is required to have an acknowledgement of the donation
from
us to be able to deduct it on their taxes. We cannot be penalized for
failing to issue a receipt however we can be fined if a donor's
deduction
is disallowed because we did not issue a receipt. Long story short I
think
we should implement a policy that we always issue a receipt if the
donation is $250 or more. If the donation is less than $250 we will
issue
a receipt upon request. I'm happy to discuss this further at the next
board meeting.

I believe we should be in the singular, or plural, noth mixed. We
currently have:
"No good or services were provided in exchange for this donation"
Here the word 'good' is singular, and 'services' is plural.
Should it be:
"No goods or services were provided in exchange for this donation"
That website says we should thank on a basic receipt, and supply the
receipt as close to the donation date as possible, however it is not
required until January 31, of the next year.
So, Jackie, please put thank you somewhere on there. Maybe in the
heading of the cash amount. Maybe as a sub-heading to the
document...up to you.

and dry when it comes to these types of things, so I wonder if

wording
and the positioning as well, so we have less back and forth.
