[wdmaudiodev] Re: WaveCyclic input ports show up as "currently unavailable" under Vista RC2

Concerning b) and c), the accounts are barebones at this point, but the
"troubled" account behaviour remains (there was some software being executed
from the HKCU run key for the "troubled" account, but I have disabled it to no
effect). I have always used a clean logoff and never switched users. I'm not
at all sure about the full history of this account, because a colleague of mine
had inherited this box for testing, but I do not see anything different in the
task manager, nor is there anything in HKCU run. Also, other standard users
cleanly created have no such issues. Moreover, this problem can be duplicated
with another soundcard of different make, so it is possible that something
fairly global is wrong here.

thank you,

Philip Lukidis
