No it is an actual USB audio device locally connected (USB 2). I am using
an older Lenovo X240 for the test.

Is this an actual USB device, or are you using a USB remoting solution,
like USB-over-Ethernet? Or, is this a USB 3 device? Windows 7 did not
have USB 3 support, so whatever USB 3 driver stack you have was provided
by the host controller manufacturer, not by Microsoft, and that means
usbccgp.sys is not present. If your computer has a USB 2 port, you
should try plugging in your device there.
