No. The machine was recently installed with a fresh Win 7 + SP1 and all
updates and a Win 7 driver package from Lenovo. That's all.
Well yes, it is actually a composite device that also has a HID interface.

It is possible you installed this driver using "devcon install"? That
would do it, too. Such a driver would not have any connection to the
hardware.
This is an odd one. The hardware ID is shown as
USB\VID_1395&PID_0089&MI_03\7&137947F4&0&0003, and the MI_03 identifiers
are created by usbccgp.sys. It's possible this is a test failure
covered by a filter.
