I had to chuck my land line because I never got service. Now we must depend on
our cell phones which are internet dependent so most times we are left with no
way to communicate with the outside world. That's just awesome considering I
have health issues and a six-year-old.
This town isn't going forward, it's going backward. The repercussions will be
devastating.

After an increased number of landline issues for the last six months, and
currently having no working landline for the last week, is this effort with
Verizon still taking place?  In other words, is the town of Warwick/Selectboard
still working directly with Verizon to improve landline service for the town?



Any update on the replacement of the cabinet in town and the new fiber run to
it?  It has been eight months, is this completed?



We have not seen any improvement with our phone for the last six months, and
rely heavily on it to actually work.

The Selectboard has reached a provisional settlement with Verizon in the matter
of local land service/voice calling. Consequently the hearing advertised for
this Wed 4/25 at Town Hall is cancelled.

Verizon agreed to completely replace the switch in the village center and to
run fiber to that new cabinet.

The board withdrew its complaint in a way that they can refile it later should
it becomes necessary. Don’t stop taking note of service issues (write them
down) and feel free to phone me if you need a service issue expedited. This new
construction is going to take some months.

The Selectboard have not backed down, they are giving a promising negotiated
settlement a chance.
