Out of over 350 astronauts, only one has questioned whether we could do it
today and the answer is that we don't have the will or guts to do it. when we
committed to the moon mission it was because of that probe that Russia sent to
the moon and the fear of the Soviet Union being there first and the possibility
for them to put weapons there,after all it was only 23 years after the war .
which was why this country and the men in this program took those chances that
today would be unthinkable , because we have lost the ability to try anything
that we don't know the results of ahead of time .people like you have shown
what this country has turned into , a bunch of wimps who find it easier to deny
and question rather than do what people say could never be done. that type of
thinking is what destroys countries and makes us weak in the eyes of the world.
By the way Pedit didn't say we didn't go to the moon only that we would never
attempt it again with that old technology because it was so new and untested.
The inference being we no longer have the balls to take that chance. I'm so
glad that you feel Russia would not lie , ala Trump, two great sources!!

and the US landed 7 or more probes and non human landings on the moon previous
to the first man landing .All of those missions sent back the info needed for
the mission. also don't underestimate the ability of the early computers. they
were big taking up a whole room and slow but still very accurate. I know this
because in 1962 i helped take apart the first computer at Harvard that was
installed in 1947 , whiling going to electronics school in boston. We have
added speed and made them smaller and added more memory but they are still the
same basic tool. Remember there was a previous launch that astronauts lost
their lives in. To say this was all a lie does a great disservice to their
sacrifice and service to this country.

Funny, that with one millionth the computing power in all of 1960’s NASA than a
modern day cell phone, they claimed to have traveled one thousand times farther
than an astronaut can travel today, and that on the very first attempt. Even
here on earth, the summit of Mount Everest and the South Pole were first met
with death, failure, and numerous attempts before success was finally achieved,
as was the case with the Wright Brothers repeated efforts before getting a mere
twenty feet off the ground.
Another strange anomaly, according to NASA astronaut Don Pettit, is that NASA
“deliberately destroyed the technology” which they painstakingly designed and
created to go to the moon in the 1960’s, at a modern day cost of ONE HUNDRED
FIFTY BILLION DOLLARS . . . Wait a second . . . Imagine Bill Gates spending 150
Billion Dollars to build the first computer, and then once successfully
completing it, throwing the computer with its blueprints into a furnace . . .
Would anyone EVER – EVER – EVER do such a crazy thing??????? . . . Of course
not . . . yet . . . this IS what NASA did with the technology which they
claimed could reach the moon in the 1960’s.
That is money that could have been used all along with robotic space travel.
But as with corruption, black operations can rake in unseen profits to do stuff
without oversight. And the people seem to be sleeping or programmed not to
question authority.. and who is paying for it? and without truth in space,
survival is in question, while wars rage on.
Meanwhile Skian, for the faking to happen, it would require robotic missions to
provide the coordinates with minor changes. Until after 1972 the Russians or
others could not see what was happening.. Apollo ended, and then they destroy
what could prove the claims. I believe in being skeptical until the claims of
the 1960's human beyond low earth orbit is proven.
