Skian, I can appreciate your defense of your belief.. but that is all it is..
you have your mind made up.. that is your world view.. but not a part of all
this is true.. Do we listen to our pride or our humility. Are we open minded or
fixed in our views?. For me who was once convinced as you, being skeptical of
stated claims after all this time is really healthy and not for my world view,
but for our collective reality. Keep healthy in 2030 when they next plan to go
beyond low Earth orbit, you might find them delaying it.. You will likely like
looking back at the good ole days when 6 trips happened in 3 years with 1960's
technologies. But as you believe, there is no deception here.. and we're paying
for it.. and science suffers as results of the Orion mission not disclosing
amount of radiation detected 2 to 3,000 miles from Earth.. national security
comes first, right?Jonathan

Saying that the moon landing didn’t happen IS A LIE. It’s not a matter of
opinion – anymore than saying the Holocaust didn’t happen. Saying that there’s
room for opinion – like Obama was not born in this country? – is exactly how we
ended up with Trump for president. IT IS A LIE. It dishonors people who
devoted their lives to making it happen. If someone keeps saying the same lie
over and over again, is calling them out “bullying?” Is it really kindness keep
indulging people with crazy delusions that are ultimately harmful for everyone?
Is it name-calling to say that someone who repeats the same lie, believing it
to be true in spite of any evidence, delusional and therefore mentally ill? And
people who aren’t mentally ill, not expending enough intellectual gumption to
reject those lies – stupid? Believing it is crazy. Allowing it to stand is
stupid. There is no opinion involved here. Truth *IS* worth more than delusions
and lies. I wish people would stop being polite and ignoring them, before we
end up with worse than Trump. Skian McGuire From: ear Sent: Sunday, November

Jonathan, for years I have appreciated your contributions to the L. I may not
always have time to read and watch all you post, due to time. But I think the L
and the community is all the better to have many and varied contributions. And
all you ask is for an opinion from time to time, if anyone chooses to do so.
Ignore the bullies who seem to feel their opinion is more worthy than
yours...nothing more than gas. Its pretty sad to think we all just want to
discuss safe and mundane things, like someone saw a moose...whooppee.
