Hinky? A new one on me, I quite like it. I suspect what is causing this is that something has gone hinkey (technical term, of course) with the virtual MIDI ports in whatever application is being used. Does a reboot solve the problem? It does on my end. If not a removal and reinstall of the virtual port application might do the trick. -----Original Message----- From: visurfacereader-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:visurfacereader-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Tim Burgess Sent: Sunday, July 29, 2012 10:26 AM To: visurfacereader@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [visurfacereader] FW: May be a problem here Best wishes. However, on launching SurfaceReader, I get an error. BCF2000 Out: port 1 could not be opened. The not be opened bit repeats about four times. There appears to be no way to reset the device to factory setting. Best, David.
