The OS that samplitude is installed on is an SSD drive. However, the drive
that my KK samples are installed on is a standard rotary drive.
There is a check box in the power options dialogue that says turn off hybrid
engine when exporting or bouncing. I am not in front of my computer now so this
may not be exactly what it says, but I am very close. I did check this box and
it seems as if it made no difference. Just for clarity, am I missing something
regarding freezing tracks?
Here is what I do to freeze tracks. Go to my desired track then press the
applications key and arrow up to freeze track or just press the F. I wait until
it’s done and check to see if the track is frozen.
I know that the tracks are frozen because when I stop playback the sound stops
in mediately there are no effects tails or anything of that nature. However,
when I play my keyboard the instrument still seems to be loaded. Is that how it
should be? What is the purpose of freezing tracks then if the instrument is
still loaded?

if you aren't using an SSD drive then, it's definitely worth doing. You will
decrease your load time x 1/3 simply by going to SSD.

Subject: [vipaudioaccess] Update to my focus issue
Hello all, it seems like I may have a solution but not one that I like.. It
appears that I have not been waiting long enough. It appears that I have not
been waiting long enough for the project. It appears that I have not been
waiting long enough for the project to load. It appears that I have not been
waiting long enough for the project to load.. It appears that I have not
been waiting long enough for the project to load. When. It appears that I
have not been waiting long enough for the project to load. When I move my
arrow keys before the project is completely loaded it causes the project to
load in the object window.. The interesting. The interesting thing. The
interesting thing is that. The interesting thing is that when. The
interesting thing is that when I get to the VIP window. The interesting
thing is that when I get to the VIP window nothing I do changes anything.
However, if I wait about five minutes, the project seems to load normally.
Some thing is snowing down my system significantly and I need to figure out
what it is.
