Greg, try exploring the window with the jaws cursor if you think something is
in the way, then route pc to jaws on the title or body of that window if there
is a window not in focus. Alternatively, if you go to your task list with jaws
key plus F10, see what windows are open. I know you’re using X3 with the X3
scripts, so I can’t remember what windows should and shouldn’t be open, but
there should be samplitude, the object editor for a start. If there is another
window try entering on it to bring focus to it. I know it’s frustrating, but
the X3 scripts will cause issues that have virtually been solved in X4, as
there is a huge difference in the scripts because of the changes made. Good

Hi Greg.
Two things you can do. First, type control p which should bring focus back to
the VIP window. If this has no effect, reinstall the scripts. You don’t
necessarily need to reinstall the Hall bit, but what is important is that you
reinstall the INI files for Samplitude to behave as it should.

Wonder if you can advise on a problem please?
I was messing around with some drums and after that, I am not hearing the
measures spoken by jaws. What I mean is, when I arrow left and right to see
what measures there are, I’m not getting any feedback.
I’ve tried closing samplitude and re-opening the program but to no
avail.When I use the right and left arrow, the measures are being moved through
but in silence.
