Thanks Paul that is very useful.
-Was able to assign different audio alerts for the new folders I created
and have an alert pop up dialogue box on screen when new mail arrive for
that folder. That keeps the inbox folder clear and puts mails from
different lists in their own folders.
Many thanks
Tony

Hi Aedan,

Try creating a rule like the following. I am assuming you are using MS
Outlook?.

1.While in the Inbox, create a new folder, call it Barbara or something
like that.

2. First arrow to one of Barbaras messages.

3. Press the application key and arrow up or down to "create rule" and
press enter.

4. Now tab over to the checkbox that says, "Where I get messages sent
too: and check this box.

5. Now tab over to "Move to folder checkbox" and check it.

Now tab once more to "select folder" and press spacebar. Here you will
be presented with any existing folders contained within outlook
including the new one you created earlier, arrow to this one and tab to
"OK" followed by spacebar.

6. Now tab to "ok" again and hit spacebar.

7. Finally, do a "shift tab once" to always send messages to this folder
and check it, tab to a final "OK" button and hit spacebar. Now if all
has been done correctly any existing messages for Barbara will be moved
into her new folder and any future messages will also go in there.

Hope you're enjoying your nice weather there.

Paul.
