Hi Eleanor, 1. Go into Programs and accessories. 2. Go into system tools. 3. Click on "System Restore" 4. Choose from the two radio buttons which are "Create a restore point and Restore my computer", the restore my computer checkbox/radio button with your mouse. 5. Click "Next" and wait for a calendar to come up. 6. Choose a restore date you want and note that only dates in "BOLD" lettering are available to you. 7. Once yu have made your selection, go to next. 8. On the final screen click OK and the computer will restart itself. This process can take anything up to 10 minutes to complete. Do not touch the machine while a system restore is in progress. What is happening is that the computer sort of freezes and Icannot close documents etc either from the mouse click or via the keyboard.I had a look at System Restore right now but I have never done this beforeand do not know how to progress. I want to go back say to the beginning ofFebruary as I know I did not have this problem then but I seem to be given an option to create a restore point. Any help please. Many thanks.
