Thanks for that. It certainly takes care of the technical point.
But remember that the technical opint was only as an example in a
wider area of structural/systemic foreseeable difficulties.
In Touch did a half a programme on the problems being experienced by
UK students with BookShare. The RNIB runs BookShare in Britain, and
in fairness, the RNIB weere not faulted during the programme. The
problems lay with individual publishers not providing titles in
accessible formats, and applying DRM which reduced accessibility etc.
Again, though, if these publishers were dealing directly with the
State, they would be more accountable and have more legal obligations.
