Hi Joe,

Below are the instructions for deleting messages from Facebook but it's not
an easy task and I doubt if you will have much success with it. I have tried
as far as possible to convert the steps into use with a keyboard so here
goes;

1. After logging into your Facebook page, do a find with jaws for "Messages"
excluding the quotes", keys, "Control + F" type in the word and press enter
key once.
When jaws search finds Messages link button, press escape key and then press
the "Enter key" to access this part of the Facebook site.

2. Now a New small window will appear and at the bottom there will be a
link called, "See All", again use your jaws find to locate this link and
when on it press the "Enter key" and wait for it to open up.
3. After clicking "See All", All the messages you have sent or received will
be visible in left side.

4. Now arrow down to the first message conversation in your list which will
have the name of the person who contacted you or who you contacted. Note
what jaws says carefully and you should hear him announce "button" at some
stage as he announces the name of the person. At this point press the
"Spacebar" once to expand that particular conversation.
Notes:After clicking on any particular message the whole conversation will
appear in right side.

5. Now On top of the Facebook page you are in a new "Actions menu" will
appear, again use your JAWS search to find this by typing in the word
"Action" into the search box and pressing the enter key to locate it.
After pressing the escape key to exit the jaws search and with focus on this
actions menu, press the spacebar once. This is where it gets sticky as I
found that more often than not the menu did not display and I had to play
around with it a lot to find the "Delete message conversation button. The
Action menu produces a list of links such as "Delete message conversation"
etc.
6. Select the "Delete Conversation" and press the "Spacebar" on it to
delete that particular conversation. You have to repeat this procedure with
all the other message conversations stored in here.
I wish you luck with it Joe.

Paul.
