Hi Kit, Quite frankly, the advice given on this list about jailbreaking your ipod is silly, and unless you know how to go through all of that, you shouldn't. I think that for the things that you would like to do, such as use dictation, Siri is your best bet. my subgbestion might be that if you could, take the ipod that you have back and get the fifth generation. I think that you would be wonderfully served with Siri. With the advent of IOS 7 which is coming out in just a few weeks, Siri is going to be a lot more intuitive. after watching my friend do dictation on her iPhone, I totally want Siri myself. Congratulations on your iPod purchase, by the way! What I wanted from Siri was the ability to ask it to do things for me. For instance, "tell Jim on his work email I bought the tickets." Does Google do anything like this? It seems that Voice Control will act as a hands free music selector, but not a lot else. The bottom line is that while I did break down and buy a Bluetooth keyboard, I won't always have it with me.. and I can't easily use the little keyboard on the screen. How do YOU input data into your iPod Touch?
