Hi William,
I found the settings button and switched off all the predictive stuff, but I'm
still not sure how to speak my email address into the edit field.
For example, if I say "ian dot" or even just "ian" I get something like "an?".
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks.
Ian.

Hi William, Yep, that worked.
Anyway to stop predicted words?
Kindle was stuttering a lot when I tried to speak my email address into a logon
screen and I think it was trying to give me lots of options after each letter
as it was adding my address into the field.
Thanks for your help.
Off to bed now as it's nearly midnight over hear.
Goodnight to all.
Ian.

Hi Ian. See if this helps. If installed, go to quick settings/settings/keyboard
and language and make Talktype Voice keyboard the default keyboard.
Stay well ... William

Hi William,
I've got it installed, but please can you now tell me how to activate
the new keyboard?
I've powered down my Kindle and then powered it back up again.
I then went to another App that I wanted to log into but it still had
the original Kindle keyboard and I could not find any way to activate
the speech input.
Sorry to be a pain Willian! <smile>
Kind regards. Ian.
