Subject: [vi-kindle] Re: for those that do kindle book conversions

hi kerry. with conversion. with codex one can convert a protected
kindle book to kindle unprotected, .mobi, .epub and .txt (which will
open in notepad). one can also convert to word and .html, but, i don't
use those conversions.

i use the .txt format to copy/quote easily.

also, in the usa, many states have their library kindle loans within
an online library. in ohio, it's the ohio online digital library. so,
with codex, the 3 week and then dead loan can be removed and converted
with codex. i have many kindle bought books, but, alot of those loans
converted also. i can then read them any time i want on my kindle or
fire just as i would an unprotected book.

that's the skinny.

stay well ... william

Hi.  I'm really confused, but why would one want to converta kindle book
anyway?
