Do you know if "animals in transition is accessible? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Karyn and Thane" <bcpaws4me@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: "Vi-clicker" <vi-clicker-trainers@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, May 30, 2008 6:50 PM Subject: (VICT) Re: Today's Training Dianne it really has been so amazing watching things unfold with Thane. He is so solid and easy going. Working him is so much less energy even at such a young age than it was working Met at this age. Of course I was also a novice then too which probably made a difference. The only hangup he really has is with getting dressed, but even that is better now than it was a month ago so I am pleased OK so we have issues with transportation, but he just isn't quite ready for it. A friend recommended the book Animals in Transition. She told me that it explains a lot of things in there- odd things that can freak dogs out and gives explanations as to why. For a time people were thinking it could be a fear period but since he is just so rock solid about everything else that is doubtful. We will get there though little by little. For now we walk our town and go places and routes that I have sometimes never been before. Its just way cool having this kind of confidence and trust now isn't it? Smile Karyn and Thane
