I used to happily feed Canidae but found it difficult to find in different parts of the country. So now I'm feeding Wellness, and all the dogs appear to be doing fine with it. I had to take my kitten off Wellness because he developed struvite crystals and he is now on Science Diet which I'm having a hard time switching out for something else more nutritious for cats. Rocky does not apparently take to changing foods too readily. I bought him this great raw chicken and veggies from Nature's Variety, and the dogs love it but Rocky just turns up his kittenish nose at it. Does anyone have any ideas about food that might be appropriate for a cat who develops struvite crystals. He does appear to be fine in that department with the Hills and bottled water. BTW, I spent a little time training Rocky to play the piano with the clicker. I thought his wild Alaska salmon treats would be high enough in value, but the process was much slower than with dogs. In fact, during the first rather arduous four or five minute session, Gretch started jumping up on the keys with her front paws obviously knowing what I wanted Rocky to do. Now of course, Gretch is my little pianist, and she happily performs for me when I ask her too every now and again. I think they were feeding it when I got Glaze from GDB in January, 2001, but I could be wrong. They also recommend California Natural for dogs with allergies.
