Well, it's dehydrated food. Supposedly, the meat is raw before the food is
dehydrated, but the dehydration does cook the meat.

talking about a new line of products they will be introducing. This has me a
bit concerned, but the kinds I buy for Glaze can still be ordered here:

I usually buy the chicken and salmon variety, which basically uses chicken as
the protein source and contains salmon oil. It does not contain rice, wheat,
etc. It does contain oats ("naked oats," which are oats grown without hulls,
apparently). It used
to contain yeast, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't anymore. It has the
consistency of granola until it is rehydrated in warm water for 10-15 minutes.
It then looks like gruel.
The main page used to give an ingredient list, but it doesn't seem to be there
anymore.
It is expensive, but I'm glad Glaze eats it. I do give some raw meals.
Recently, my vet said Glaze had the physique of a seven-year-old lab. She's
almost nine and a half.
Not sure if my new dog will eat this or a high-quality kibble. If I go to a
school that lets me change the food in class, I will probably change to a
kibble rather than NRG. This is because I want to change to something that the
school would actually
consider using. (grin) I'm also looking at a school that feeds Canidae in their
kennels.
