Hi Shelley,

A lot of foods now list their caloric content on the label. If they don't, you 
can sometimes find this out by calling and asking the company. I'd try to find 
it out before switching, since the foods really can vary widely.

Merrick sounds like a great food, but it's one of the few I haven't used. Glaze 
is currently eating NRG, a granola-like food that is rehydrated before serving. 
I like it because it undergoes less processing than kibble. Unfortunately, 
there is only one US 
distributor, and it is kinda not cheap...
