Hi!
Yes i tried that out and things went a bit more as i wanted it to be.
I am not using brailleBack as it really Sucks in my opinion.
But the brltty for android works like a charm.
BUt i have to learn the commands for that service.

For now you have to pair the VU in emulation mode however once the device has
been paired you can switch it back to native mode and it will continue to
work as all BAUM devices use the same driver and the keys for the VU and
Vario Connect are identical. This is particularly important if you have a
VU20 as it pretends to be a 24 cell device in emulation mode and you loose
the last 4 cells but in native mode Android will correctly recogonize it as a
20 cell device.

Subject: [varioultra] VarioUltra and Android.
Hi!
I have got an android phone and have been trying the VarioUltra out with
BrailleBack and also with Brltty.
What i wonder is if you only can pair the VarioUltra in VarioConnect
emulation mode?
Or will there be support for the real VarioUltra protocol on the Android
platform?
Thanks.
