I convert percentages into decimals, too, and it seems much easier to me.

I'm asking this mainly because I'm working with a deaf-blind person who has
to take a test on using a calculator, in which there are percentage problems
dealing with money, and it will be rather embarrassing to explain that the
"smart braille display" cannot handle percentages which an old talking
calculator can do with ease. Very disappointing.
