I've started finding this in all sorts of scenarios but not on word
processing documents. Seen it on email and Kindle books. For some
reason my display just seems to sit there and I end up having to use the
arrow keys on my keyboard to move past it.

The setting was unchecked, and checking it helped with some of the blanks.
Of course this is not the VU's fault.
