Thanks as always, Dave. I almost missed Braille Document Settings. May I
remind us all of the three periods or elipsis in the G.2 setting and its
meaning; i.e., there's something behind this door.
The setting was unchecked, and checking it helped with some of the blanks.
Of course this is not the VU's fault.

Hi
In the Word Processor, open the command menu with S3, choose Tools >
Braille Document Settings. In the Document Settings dialog try checking
Strip Formatting. Click the cursor routing button between the brackets to
insert a C to check the checkbox. Press the B9 Command key to save your
change.
Let us know if this helps.
Kind regards

I think that some of the other display/notetakers can get past repeated
blank lines. Iâm thinking especially of .brf files from NLS and other
sources. Is there a way to skip blank lines with the VU? I havenât
found one. I have a 20, read books in brf format a lot, and find it
tedious to get past all those blank lines, especially if a chapter starts
on a new page.
Ideally, I would like this feature to be something I could quickly turn on
and off or that could be made specific to a file or maybe a folder.
Thanks.
