I second this suggestion; of course I'd hinted at this in my other
message, but you put it so succinctly!
Frankly I'm getting disappointed in displays as notetakers; I've got one
that won't format words well and has the blank line problem, then the VU
still makes me wait for blank lines constantly.
Where's the beef, folks?

I think that some of the other display/notetakers can get past repeated
blank lines. I'm thinking especially of .brf files from NLS and other
sources. Is there a way to skip blank lines with the VU? I haven't found
one. I have a 20, read books in brf format a lot, and find it tedious to
get past all those blank lines, especially if a chapter starts on a new
page.
Ideally, I would like this feature to be something I could quickly turn on
and off or that could be made specific to a file or maybe a folder.
