I spent a little over an hour at 42nd Street this morning before work. I was greeted by a singing Baltimore Oriole in the parking lot, for a good start. The other good bird was a singing Northern Waterthrush at the old sewage apparatus. Also spotted a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher nest in the bottom-most dead branch on the first pine you come to in the Reedy Creek meadow. Other warblers/migrants: White-eyed Vireo, Red-eyed Vireo, Black-and-white Warbler, Common Yellowthroat, Palm Warbler and Yellow-rumped Warbler.
