For the last few days I've had a Northern/Baltimore oriole (looks like a
female) frequenting my feeders in the Fort Hunt area of Fairfax County. I
don't know how common this is, so thought I'd mention it. I know it's the
first time I've seen one in the yard in almost 20 years. Not much else of
note -- a flock of Siskins and the Cedar Waxwings make me happy when they stop
by, but in general it's the normal winter mix of birds, other than the oriole.Â
