Two 1 st spring female White-winged Scoters were observed at Beaverdam
Reservoir this afternoon from 4-00 to 4-30 pm from the end of Reservoir Road.
I believe these are unusual for the Piedmont.
Also seen well were a Common Loon and 5 DC Cormorants .
