The largest group we can remember came out for the Prince William Conservation
Alliance Last-Sunday-of-the-Month birdwalk at the Merrimac Farm Wildlife
Management Area. Fifteen birders assembled for the walk including guests from
Colombia and the Netherlands. We tallied 31 species with Wild Turkeys,
Yellow-breasted Chats, and several Prairie Warblers making up our highlights.
The day was beautiful, cool, and calm.
