Our group of ten was pleased to be in the Park on a rainless morning for the
first time in a month. We tallied 34 species (+1 other taxa). Highlights
of the day were the waterfowl -- a trumpeter swan, pairs of wigeons and coots,
and number of common mergansers. All are welcome to join this regular
Sunday walk that meets at 8:00am in the visitor's center parking lot. --
