I spent the early am hours of Easter morning at the Washington Ditch and a
brief time at Jericho Ditch. I saw 8 species of warbler 25 Myrtle Warbler , 1
Black Th. Green Warbler , 1 Yellow Th. Warbler , 1 Black & White Warbler , 1
American Redstart , 5 Louisiana Waterthrush, 20 Ovenbird and 30plus Common
Yellowthroat. I saw all the warblers at Washington Ditch except for Yellow Th.
Warbler . Also of note 1 Wood Thrush singing along boardwalk at Washington
Ditch , 10 Rusty Blackbirds along Washington . The am singing was great it was
good to hear all the warblers songs again.
I did run into other birders at Jericho they noted a few Prairie Warblers ,
which i didn't get to see. I got to Jericho late in am , most of the song was
already gone . I did get the Yellow Th. Warbler , he was singing away right
before the parking area.
Cheers
