All,
Yesterday, upon arriving home before dark, an Alder Flycatcher called
incessantly from the back of our home in Suffolk.
I saw the bird, saw its preferred posture, forward, not as proudly upright
as a Phoebe. 10 feet up.
It was an Empidonax. The call was uniform, two rough notes. No twizzles, no
squeeks. Alder.
