Hello Jim,
Even though I am not VH I applaud your move. I hope other national associations
will follow suit. I can guarantee that you (they) will expand your (their)
membership by doing this.
Well done the USBCA board!

Hi All,
At our last board meeting, the bord voted to change the name of our group
from the United States Braille Chess Association to the United States Blind
Chess Association. We felt that doing this made it so that the name more
closely reflects the larger blindness community. This would include everyone
who does not read braille, and those who have low vision.
As a reminder, I have an open door policy and want to know what you feel your
board can do to make the United States Blind Chess Association better. You
will start seeing the name change on our website when the guys who work on it
are able to get that taken care of.
Thanks.
Jim
