[Umpqua Birds] Ford's Pond

Hi Everyone,
We were at Ford's Pond this morning (May 9) and it's teeming with
birds; the list that Matt posted yesterday will give you a good idea
of what you can expect to see. We couldn't find the Yellow-headed
Blackbird, but we did see a pair of Canvasbacks, a pair of Blue-
winged Teal, three Caspian Terns, a Short-eared Owl, and a Sandhill
Crane. Be sure and walk out between the two ponds; wear your rubber
boots - it's wet out there.
