[UHNA] Minutes

The UHNA meeting was held on September 8, 2008. Present were Kathy Kessler,
Aila Shochat, Theresa Stallsworth, Dan and Cindy Lewis. Dan reported that
Rob Neel is the new president of CUF. He wants to collaborate with other
organizations for a better community. Dan will look into cleanup days and
report to the group. (which he has done).
The next Wednesday on the porch is September 24 at the Matacia's and
Emerson's on Riddle View. The WOP have been a great success, attracting many
new people. Thank you Mercedes.
Six families have signed up for the Neighborhood yard Sale on September 20.
Cindy reported that she had applied for permission for the block party on
Sept 27. Kathy will make up flyers. Cindy will write up a summary of what
UHNA has been doing to be distributed at the events. Aila will help with
paper products etc. As Theresa will not be here, we need someone with a
truck to help pick up barricades.
As we will support the Community cleanups on October 4 and 25, there will be
no other neighborhood cleanup this month. Of course, we ask that everyone
do their part every day.
If any one has any ideas or thoughts about speakers for the meetings, let us
know.
