repository has an updated copy?


I would suggest updating your local copy with:

cvs up -Pd

Generally it's usually safest to do a 'make clean' after updating. The
dependency tracking in the build scripts isn't perfect.

If configure.in changes, it's a good idea to run the ./bootstrap.sh script
after updating.

This tells me: "configure.in:11: require version 1.7, but have 1.6.3"

wrong aclocal version?? how to get another?
