TODAY'S eTIP(TM): (Me/98) Adding Dr. Watson to Your StartUp Group

This tip applies to Windows Me and Windows 98.

Dr. Watson is a diagnostic program that was present in Windows
3.1, disappeared in Windows 95, but is back in Windows 98 and Me.

Dr. Watson can be of some help in figuring out why you are having
General Protection Fault errors. He is available if you click
Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Information,
Tools, Dr. Watson. Dr. Watson runs minimized in your system tray
until you need him.

You can also get him to come to the office whenever you start
your computer by putting a shortcut to him in the StartUp group.
Here is one way to do this:

1. Right-click your taskbar, click Properties, and click
     the Start Menu Programs tab.

2. Click the Add button, and enter C:\Windows\Drwatson.exe
in the Create Shortcut dialog box in the Command line
     field. Click Next.

3. Choose the StartUp folder, which is toward the bottom
of the folder list. Click Next and then Finish. Dr.
Watson will start the next time you restart Windows.
