If you have Client for Microsoft Networks in the Network properties, you will have the Network Neighborhood, unless you have a NoNetHood setting in your Registry. However, you don't need Client for Microsoft Network to connect, and in Win98 and above it is not installed unless you have a network card or specify it yourself.
