I've had some success running Color 64 BBS on a uIEC.  I would be a
little concerned about REL file integrity running 24/7.  Not to
mention that Color 64 BBS generally requires some means of rapid
program loading so one would need 17xx RAM expansion minimally for
tolerable performance.

I think Color 64 BBS might a good candidate to update the
communication I/O for a more modern interface.  Its ML and BASIC
routines are fairly simple.
