I would imagine that very simple BBSes like EBBS (the one I used to
use) would work OK.   Many BBSes use REL files though, and I'm not
sure of the state of the uIEC support.

Also, Ian C. has done some work with getting Darkstar to work on
non-1541s (as seen at WoC), with uIEC operation as a goal.

There is a "Contiki BBS" in development that works with the 64NIC+ and
