I use SCART to HDMI upscalers.
I just bought an OSSC which is like the high-end of
uspscalers/scandoublers, but before I was using a chinese generic one found
on ebay.
These cheap upscalers, gives aa 800x600/1024x768/1280x1024/720p/1080p
output over hdmi. They are a bit blurry on mouvement and add a slight lag
to the controls if you play games, but nothing major. The OSSC has none of
these issues, it's just wonderful ! you can even emulate CRT scanlines :)

Buy exactly this model as the other models, on ebay that are even cheaper
and have a more elongated shape, are really bad.

Those scan converters can be purchased from eBay for around $25.00 or so.
It would be on a slow boat from China but they are not very expensive at
all.
I have one, I just have to make a cable and try it.
This one is $16.00 US.

I looked into this as well. Apparently there is a newer lcd monitor
available via Canada Computers which can handle the Amiga vga output. Have
to look for the make / model.

Monitor
I have been "surfing" for information on how to connect my A500/A2000 to
an LCD monitor.
While it would be nice to have one of the new Scan Doublers that are
available, they don't fall within my budget right now.
I have seen a few posting on using Amiga RGB to SCART cables and then
SCART to VGA.
I found the Amiga RGB to SCART cable on the AmigaKit Store website. It
has a Female Amiga RGB connector (with audio) on one end and a Male SCART
on the other.
So I am assuming all I would need to do is find a cable that has a Female
SCART connector on one end and regular VGA on the other end. Am I correct
to assume this would work?
I have searched a number of sites including ebay and amazon and haven't
been able to find a cable that has Female SCART to VGA. Does anyone know
where I might be able to purchase one?
Thanks for your help! :)
