Omphalocera cariosa - Hodges#5625 (Omphalocera cariosa) comes to mind. Larry McDaniel Date: Tue, 17 Jul 2012 12:50:50 -0700 From: kjchilds@xxxxxxxxx Subject: [tn-moths] Help needed To: tn-moths@xxxxxxxxxxxxx; ncsc-moths@xxxxxxxxxxxxx When I saw this moth last night I figured that with that shape, pattern and long palps it must be a species of Hypena or at least something close. I'm not finding it anywhere so with a moth this distinctive, I must be missing something obvious. Any suggestions?
