The huge numbers showed up here about a week ago. A few days ago I setup my camera on a tripod aimed at 1 Zinnia and there was a constant stream of Skippers with sometimes as many as 4 at a time on the same flower. Sachems are #1 but there has been a surprisingly large number of Little Glassywings. Clouded Skippers are #3 and Fiery Skippers are #4. The Sachems can be found on just about anything. The Glassywings prefer the Zinnias and Lantana. Fierys prefer the Lantana and the Cloudeds are mostly on Petunias.
