Hello from the Charlotte Park section of West Nashville a few blocks of the
old Cumberland River Cleece's Ferry landing.
As I returned from getting a paper at about 7:25 this morning, a sparrow hawk
was perched on a wire that crosses the street in front of my side yard.

At about 5:30 PM today, a poor little lone nighthawk was flying around over
my deck searching for insects and seemingly calling plaintively for some
companionship.

Cheers, prayers & happy birding,

Dee Thompson
Nashville, TN
