[TN-Bird] purple finches

A small flock of Purple Finches showed up at my feeders in west Knox County
this afternoon. There were three of them, all females or immatures. Exciting
because it's the first I've had more than an occasonal single individual in the
yard. The warm weather (relatively speaking) apparently fooled a House Finch
as he was singing up a storm. I've also been seeing a lot of Common Grackles
in the yard this December which is unusual in the winter months. Had 4 at the
feeders this past Sunday and at least 15 one day last week (mostly in with a
flock of starlings across the street but a few in the back yard also).
